Ariens Company has learned that the fuel pick-up line may be routed through the rails of the fuel gauge

causing the fuel gauge to not work properly. This condition may occur on the p/n 02967300 fuel tanks

installed on the above listed models.

Units with this problem may exhibit the following problems: fuel gauge remains static or moves in only a

limited range, fuel guage will not read full after being filled, or fuel gauge will not read empty when the tank

is empty. If a unit from the models listed above exhibits any of these problems follow the attached direc-

tions to reroute the fuel pick-up line in the fuel tank.

Dealers who reroute a fuel pick-up line should file a warranty claim, and they will be reimbursed at their

standard shop labor rate for 0.50 hours of labor.
